Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe it's 2015? I hope you all had a great time ringing in the new year. This year I did something a little different. We had 2 other familys come over and we had a "formal" dinner. It was a fondu dinner, so I got to fondu some meat, potatoes, and even some wontons. We also had some cheese fondu, which I'm not really a fan of. Although it was something different, I really had a lot of fun!

I'm so so so so excited for 2015. This is going to sound beyond cliche, but I really do feel like this is going to be my year. I'm planning on focusing on my blog a LOT more. Which is super exciting, because I have big plans and dreams for this little thing. Thinking about it gets me so excited, and I am SO READY to accomplish all of my goals.
Now onto the outfit. These pictures are from a few days ago when it actually snowed for the first time in almost two months. This is extremely rare for MN, because usually our winters are horrible. Like really really horrible. But for some reason this year we have had warm temps and absolutely no snow. Usually I would be jumping for joy, but since it was around Christmas and there was no snow it was kind of depressing. Seriously, who wants a green Christmas?(I don't know how people live in warmer weather climates around the holidays?!) Living in MN one of the perks is you're guaranteed a white Christmas. Except for the 0.02% chance you won't have one. Anyways, on December 27 we got a ton of snow. To say I was mad would be an understatement. The snow came two days late, and now that it's after Christmas I could care less if it snows.
I thought I would make the best of it by wearing this adorable coat I scored from Target. It's the cutest and warmest coat ever(and it was under $40). I've been obsessed with buffalo plaid this season, so this coat was right up my alley. I decided to pair it with some ripped jeans and a floppy hat, for a super casual look.
If you made it this far, bravo. Sorry for the rambly post today, apparently I felt like talking.
