2015 Goals

Oh, how I love a new year!  I know a new year is literally just the year changing from 2014 to 2015.  Nothing else changes.  It just changes from Wednesday to Thursday.  It just goes from the 31st to the 1st, like it has for the past year.  But there's just something special about a new year.  If feels like a fresh start.  A blank new year and you are able to fill it with whatever you want.

I usually don't make "resolutions", but I make goals for the year ahead.  Goals that I want to achieve by 2016.  I do this because I think resolutions usually consist about changing something about your lifestyle permanently.  And I believe if you want it that bad, that you'll change it whenever.  Whether that be the 20th of March or the 20th of December.

With making goals it's more of a tinier step to a resolution.  For example, a common resolution is to lose weight and eat healthier.  or you could make a goal to lose 20 pounds, and stop eating fast food for the year.  A goal is more achievable and is more precise.  See what I mean?  Kinda, not really, ok moving on.

Anyways, after that whole little spiel, what I'm trying to say is that a new year provides wonderful opportunities.  With a fresh start, you are more motivated to accomplish things.  You are more motivated to accomplish all of the goals you have set for yourself for the following year.  So with that said, without further ado here are my goals for 2015.  WHICH I AM DEFINITELY GOING TO ACCOMPLISH.

ps. Since I am writing them down I am hoping this will hold me accountable to completing all of them.  Because last year I might have not been able to conquer all of my goals.  And since I am going to check back at the end of the year, in a recap post.  I don't want to report back that I failed.

Have 5 Posts Up Every Week: Let's face it, I AM AM ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE at putting posts up.  Last year it averaged about a post a week.  I really really really want to change this, so I want to put up at least 5 posts a week.  I want to do this because I want to grow my blog even more and I want create a site I would want to visit everyday.  Who want to visit a blog that posts once a week?

Drink 4 Bottles of Water a Day:  I'm actually pretty good at drinking water.  I drink about 2 bottles a day.  The reason I want to drink 4 is because I want to drink about 60 ounces of water a day.  I really want to drink the suggested amount of water, because this will help my body to become healthier and it also has a ton of beauty benefits.

Quick tip: Divide your weight in 2.  That's the number of ounces you are supposed to drink a day.

In case you're wondering, why water bottles?  I am kinda a lot weird.  And I prefer drinking water bottles over tap water.  I know really weird, but I really can taste a difference.  Everyone I know calls BS, but I'm serious I really can.  If you didn't think that's weird enough, I only like 1 brand in particular, Ice Mountain.  Ya...okay...I am definitely weird.

Go To Sleep During The Same Day I Woke Up In:  By this I mean before 12AM.  I was cursed, and I am a horrible night owl.  I could stay up all night, but I usually force myself to go to bed at 2-3 AM.  I think the reason I am so bad is because I usually start working at night, and once I start I can't stop.  I am most productive at night, because I work the best when I'm under pressure.

Example #1 -- It's currently 1:20AM while I am writing this post.

Basically I would like to go to bed before 12AM, preferably 10-11PM.

Improve my Instagram & Reach 20K Instagram Followers:  This is a huge outrageous goal for me.  Considering right now I have a little over 1K.  But you know what they say, go big or go home.  This is a goal I really really want to accomplish.  Instagram is becoming bigger and bigger, and now in a sense it's becoming like a mini blog.  Instead of following bloggers, a lot of people will just follow along on Instagram.  For this reason, I would love to improve my Instagram and interact with a lot more people this year.

Stop Procrastinating:  I am literally the worst procrastinator ever.  Usually I don't start stuff until the night before I need it, or even after when it's already late.  Ya..I told you it was bad.  So my goal this year is to finish things before I need them.

Wake Up at 6AM Everyday:  I'm so bad at waking up in the morning -- literally I wake up kicking and screaming.  I'm a night owl, not an early bird.  I can not wake up early to save my life.  Right now I wake up at 7AM, and that is the absolute latest I can wake up without being late.  I'm assuming me going to bed so late has something to do with this bad habit.  So now that I'm{hopefully} going to bed earlier, this will be an easy goal to accomplish.

In case you were wondering I would like to wake up at 6 so I can actually accomplish something and get some blog work done before I go and start my day.  It would also be nice not having to shove my food down my throat, and actually to be able to enjoy it.

Reach 20K Bloglovin Followers:  I would love to be able to gain new readers in 2015.  20K is a bit of a stretch, but once again go big or go home.

Start My Newsletter:  I've been wanting to start a newsletter for over a year now.  And I would love to finally sit down and make one during 2015.

Clean Everyday:  I used to be the worst at not cleaning anything.  I would just throw everything on the floors and say "I'll pick it up later".  I've actually gotten a lot better at this over the last month.  I've become strangely OCD, and I usually clean up every night before I go to bed.  This can hopefully become a habit in 2015.

Stop Eating Processed Foods:  Although you wouldn't be able to tell from what I've been eating over the past few weeks, I usually eat extremely healthy.  I cut out most of the "bad" foods from my diet, but I still have a few lingering bad habits that I should get rid of.  In 2015 I want to make it my goal to cut out all processed food from my diet.  I think this should be relatively easy, since I don't eat a lot to begin with.

Stop Caring About What Others Think Of Me:  I thought I was getting better at this, but I noticed over the past few months that I'm not.  This year I want to stop caring about what{I think}others think of me, because at the end of the day they don't really think anything of you.  AT ALL.  And if they do, why does it matter what they think?

Workout Atleast 3 Days a Week:  When I'm trying to live a healthier lifestyle, working out is definitely the hardest thing.  I have no problem with eating good, and making healthy decisions.  It's just I can not get myself to workout.  I would love to start working out to get my body more toned, but also just to feel healthier.  A lot of the time I get tired by 3PM.  And I know that's because I don't do much exercising.

Go To New York:  This has been a dream of mine for 5 years now.  This year it's not a dream, I'm making it my goal to go.  I've had plans to go with my mom before, but unfortunately those fell through.  But this year I am going, and nothing is going to stop me.

Wow!  That was a lot of writing.  I applaud you if you made it this far, we are definitely true friends.  Now that I shared my goals, I would love to hear yours!  Leave me your top goals down below in the comments.  I hope you'll have a great 2015, and achieve everything your hoping to!  I know you can do it!
