Super Foods For Gorgeous Skin + Hair

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I hope you survived the frigid temperatures yesterday.  One thing I hate about the winter and the cold is how it makes your skin and hair look and feel horrible.  So I did some research and came across quite a few foods that will help to make your skin and hair gorgeous.

Berries - Any kind of berries help improve your skin and help keep pre-mature wrinkles away.  One berry in particular that really helps, is blueberries.

Greek yogurt - If you want your teeth to be strong and healthy I would give greek yogurt a try.  It comes in so many yummy flavors, or plain tastes great with strawberries and granola!

Avocado - Oh where to start!  Avocado is a triple threat, helping nails, skin, and hair.  The good fats in avocado can help in lowering bad cholesterol levels while also improving the good cholesterol levels.  It also contains fiber, antioxidants, magnesium, folate, and a ton of potassium.

Sweet Potatoes - Eating sweet potatoes will help you get glowing skin and will boost your immunity.  Other foods that will help make your skin glow are, apricots, red peppers, carrots, cantaloupe, broccoli, and leafy greens.

Kiwis - These fuzzy little fruits help keep your skin firm and prevent wrinkles.  They also keep your bones and teeth healthy.

Dark Chocolate - Yes please!  Chocolate helps keep skin hydrated and also protects it from sun damage.  You will also notice it prevents wrinkles, skin discoloration, and fine lines.  But keep in mink the chocolate should be at least 60% cacao.

Walnuts - Provides smoother skin, healthy hair, bright eyes, and strong bones.

Watermelon - Helps prevent and reduce age spots.

Oats - Oats are great for glowing skin, but also help with stress and tiredness.

Sunflower Seeds- A few sunflower seeds will help your hair grow faster.
