Happy 2014 everyone! I hope you had a great time ringing in the new year. Today I though I would just write a sort of rambly post about 2014. First off; am I the only one who loves making goals and resolutions for the new year? It seems like everyone is complaining about things like this on twitter, and saying the new year doesn't matter you can change whenever. I think this is partially true, if you really do want something you will start the day you decide you want it. But the new year is always a fresh new start, and it can feel good to make new goals and resolutions. In fact yesterday I was looking at my resolutions I made for 2013. And it was amazing to see that I did actually accomplish a lot of the goals I had. This is the reason why I love making goals for the new year, so at the end of the year you can see how much you accomplished.
The next thing I want to share is the gratitude jar. I heard about this in late 2012 and though it was a great idea. Even though I loved the idea I never made a jar for 2013. But for the last couple of days I have seen a lot of posts and videos looking back at their own jar. And by seeing these posts/videos I have decided that I want to make my own for 2014. I think it's great because you can look back at the amazing year you had.
